After the successful launch of Electrified S, Dutch bike manufacturer Vanmoof recently unveiled an updated version in Tokyo. Electrified X features an eye-catching ‘triple triangle’ frame design which combines with a black/yellow palette to make the bicycle a real head turner. Designed for metropolises, especially for the neon-hued streets of the Japanese capital, the e-bike can handle almost anything in an urban environment and deliver impressive performance.
It comes with a 250W electric motor on the front wheel and hidden lithium-ion batteries that can power the Electrified X for 120 km on a single charge. Speeds also reach up to 24 km/h. Other features include an LED lighting system, a touch screen computer with smart anti-theft technology, thief-proof bolts as well as a plastic crankcase which covers the transmission and protects the cyclist from dirt while riding. Compact and agile, the bicycle weighs 40.6 lbs. It’s a perfect choice for urban dwellers looking for a modern and convenient way to make their commute easier and more fun. Although Electrified X is still only available in Japan, the company aims to release it globally next year.
