Taking sneaker design to a whole new level of creativity, the new END. x Saucony Grid 8500 ‘Lobster’ draws inspiration from one of the most popular dishes in New England. Created in a collab with Massachusetts-based brand Saucony, the limited-edition sneaker celebrates the East Coast delicacy in a playful and stylish way. The upper boasts ‘Jaffa’ suede as well as ‘Orange Peel’ leather details. Mesh sections add an athletic touch to the design and also enhance breathability. The tongue and collar feature patina weathered leather, while the gum rubber traction outsole boasts an intricate pattern in white, orange and beige.
For ultimate comfort, the Grid 8500 ‘Lobster’ comes with an EVA midsole and the G.R.I.D. cushioning system. Leather lining and a claw-printed insole complete the design. The sneaker is available with both blue or orange laces and comes already ‘captured’ in a blue fishing net. Of course, the packaging also defies the norm with its creative design. The sneaker costs $155 and is currently available through a draw system. If you want to catch these beauties, you’ll have to hurry – and have some (fisherman’s?) luck on your side. This End. Clothing draw ends on May 11, 2018. Happy fishing. Photographs© End. Clothing, Saucony.
