Fangblade by Stephan Alexandr

Despite its seemingly threatening name, Fangblade is actually a humorous and playful throwback to the traditional post. Stephan Alexandr, fueled by his fascination with animal bones, converts the jawbone of the great alligator into a letter opener. Each blade is uniquely sculpted, and the handles are fun variations of textures and bright colors – equipped with a lone tooth or two. The pearly whites are intriguing reminders of the powerful jaws of the reptile, which has been ironically reduced to performing a docile and domestic chore. The handy item is an eye-catcher for sure, and perhaps its unusualness is all the more reason to start penning more letters via snail mail.
