Harmonies Collection By Bang & Olufsen

A symbiosis between music and nature.

At the end of 2017, Danish brand Bang & Olufsen celebrated its 92nd birthday with a beautiful collection that brings earthy tones to the company’s most popular products. The Harmonies Collection creates a symbiotic relationship between audio technology and nature. All in the brand’s signature Nordic minimalist design. The range features five carefully selected wireless speakers which boast a lush Infantry Green color. Ready to infuse modern living spaces with organic accents, the speakers have subtly different hues. Depending on the material, they appear green or even earthy brown, with golden accents also included in some designs.

“At Bang & Olufsen we continuously absorb trends, process and make our own distinct interpretations of them. We always strive to create something both new and timeless. In this case, we developed our own tone of green with a monochromatic look through all the different materials, visually tying together the products”, says Kresten Bjørn Krab-Bjerre, Concept Manager at Bang & Olufsen.

The collection includes five popular wireless speakers, all boasting the custom green color. BeoSound 1 and BeoSound 2 come in anodized aluminum, while BeoSound 35 features a brass-tone aluminum cabinet, fabric cover, and black aluminum table stand. Both the BeoPlay A9 and the BeoPlay M5 have a woven Kvadrat fabric; the former has brass-hued aluminum ring and smoked oak wooden legs, while the latter boasts a green aluminum top. Of course, the speakers come with the Bang & Olufsen multiroom feature, which allows the user to link them in perfect harmony. They can play together to fill an entire home with music, or they can play different tunes in separate rooms. Available on the brand’s website, the limited edition Harmonies Collection carries the same price tag as the standard speaker versions. Photographs© Bang & Olufsen.
