The Haven x Engineered Garments Cascadia Collection

A three-piece apparel collection inspired by the Cascadia bioregion of the Pacific Northwest.

Sharing the same passion for quality, US-made products and utilitarian clothing, Haven and Engineered Garments have collaborated on a capsule collection. Named Cascadia, this three-piece line references the bioregion of the Pacific Northwest that covers areas of both the US and Canada. The items also feature design cues inspired by the two countries’ military style clothing. For example, the Cascadia Jacket combines elements of the US military BDU jacket and the Canadian military MK2 jacket. The jacket features four cargo pockets, asymmetrical elbow patch reinforcements, a semi-concealed placket, and a drawstring.

Likewise, the Cascadia Pants blend design cues of both the US M-65 and Canadian MK2 pants. They have a Canadian style bellows pocket on the left leg with a reinforced knee panel; on the right leg, they feature a US style cargo pocket, a pleated knee, and a concealed snap button front. A reinforced seat panel adds more durability, while drawstring cuffs and waist adjustment make finding the right fit easy. Versatile and perfect for urban or natural settings, the jacket and pants feature the 100% cotton Stotz EtaProof ripstop material. The high-density organic cotton fabric repels water but remains breathable and soft to the touch.

Asymmetrical elements appear throughout the collection – a signature feature of Engineered Garments designs. However, they stand out most in the Cascadia Pacific Parka. A special edition of Haven’s Pacific Parka, it features virgin wool yarns in Black, Olive, and Gray in a handmade, mixed-knit construction. Contrasting leather and suede elbow patches with deerskin leather lace hand-stitching add another creative touch to the design. Launched online on December 19, the Haven / Engineered Garments Cascadia Collection will also be available at selected stores, including Engineered Garments Tokyo.
