What if your workout equipment could look stylish instead of simply utilitarian? Work in Use pondered that question and came up with a gorgeous solution. Designed by the Rhode Island-based design studio, this elegant home fitness equipment collection can take pride of place in any home. Work in Use’s founder Wu Hanyen has a background in furniture and graphic design. She has also been a movement practitioner for years, studying the Ido Portal Method. Naturally, the Work in Use home fitness equipment incorporates all of Wu Hanyen’s expertise in beautifully designed, graceful products.

Looking more like design objects than practical equipment, these fitness accessories and movement tools redefine the way the users think about form and aesthetics while working out. The collection aims to encourage people to incorporate more movement into their everyday life. The range includes a pull up bar, balance rails, parallettes, rings, a dowel, and hand weights. More than just elegant, the items also have a convenient design. For example, some products are easy to travel with and pack in a travel bag. Others provide the option to use them in different ways: the supports of the balance rails can also double as yoga blocks.
