Inspired by traditional Chinese paintings, the products from the Ink and Wash Collection are works of art in their own right. Using ebony shavings and scraps which were discarded as waste in a furniture manufacturing factory, EY-Products created a stunning range of practical desk items. The collection includes six designs: lamp, plate, pen holder with a storage box, card holder, paper weight, and ruler. All of them feature unique sections of ebony wood and transparent resin.
Black and yellow tones combine with irregular shapes and undulating lines, giving each piece a distinctive look. Light and dark tones as well as smooth resin and natural wood create a play on colors and textures. The designs resemble landscape paintings with stylized mountains and hills under a clear sky. Thus, the products bring a touch of natural beauty and an artistic vibe to modern offices.
