Introducing EDIT Napoli

The world’s first fair dedicated entirely to the designer-maker.

In recent years, there’s been a shift in the world of design. More and more designers become involved in every stage of their creative projects, from the concept to manufacturing and marketing. This rise of the designer-maker has caught the attention of Domitilla Dardi and Emilia Petruccelli, who decided to highlight these new types of creatives with a special event. The new EDIT Napoli fair is the first event in the world to focus exclusively on designer-makers.

Launched on June 6, the fair will take place in Napoli’s historical center. At EDIT Napoli, visitors will have the opportunity to see work from talented young designers and established companies as well as collaborations between designers and manufacturers. The fair aims to create a bridge between designer-makers on one side and retailers, architects, and interior designers on the other.

A selection of leading designers will exhibit products created specifically for EDIT Napoli. A residency program and round table talks are also included in the program. At the end of the event, an expert committee will choose a wining design. The winning project will embody the EDIT Napoli principles: intelligent as well as accessible design that highlights crafting and heritage. EDIT Napoli opens on June 6 and lasts until June 9, 2019.
