Jack Speaker by Ben Wahrlich

Have you met Jack? Jack Speaker is a stand-alone speaker designed by Ben Wahrlich for AN/AESTHETIC. The speaker is crafted by hand from a unique mix of concrete with increased compressive strength and reduced weight. The accompanying wooden crossbar supports the speaker body, reducing vibration as a damper that fits right underneath a groove in the speaker itself. The simple design and seamless construction – save for the single partline in the concrete cast –  is something worth appreciating. The estimated launch of the speaker is to take place in April 2013, and our ears wait in anticipation to hear high-quality beats from this product.
