The Jellyfish Barge is a modular floating greenhouse designed by the Italian firm Studiomobile. Created to support population growth, the system of barges allows people in the community to sustainably cultivate crops. The eco-friendly design forgoes land and freshwater and uses only renewable energy—solar, wind, and tidal, to be exact. Framed in wood, the greenhouse is handsome as well as responsible, providing a serene gathering place for people who want to lend a hand in saving water and harvesting local fruit and vegetables.
