The Lasso Felt Backpack

Made by the creators of the popular Lasso slippers, this gorgeous and minimalist felt backpack provides a fresh take on classic designs. Similarly to the brand’s slippers, the backpack requires assembly, which makes the final product that more special. The bag features a single piece of wool felt enhanced with viscose fibers for water-resistance. Two polyester straps with a double stitch design transform the flat piece of felt into a functional, spacious bag, while also adding a touch of color and contrast to the brown or black material. Options include black – for those who prefer the monochrome look – gray, and green as well as vibrant red, orange, and blue.

The backpacks come with an internal pocket for a 15’’ laptop and two smaller compartments for a phone, keys, and other essentials. Dedicated to producing only eco-friendly and sustainable products, the brand makes sure that every step of the manufacturing process is completed within a 500km radius of France. With felt also produced in a solar powered factory near Florence, the backpacks truly deserve a ‘green’ label. Every felt backpack comes in flat packaging, in a reusable and recyclable cotton bag. The Kickstarter campaign to bring the bag into production has surpassed the initial goal; you can still become a backer until November 17 and receive your own Lasso felt backpack in January 2018.
