The Limited Edition Luftgekühlt Book

A must-have tome for automotive and Porsche fans.

Established by Le Mans winner Patrick Long and creative director Howie Idelson, Luftgekühlt organizes automotive events centered around Porsche cars. The name refers to the Porsche series of air-cooled vehicles that started with the Pre-A 356 range and ended in 1998 with the 993 line. The Luftgekühlt Book chronicles Luftgekühlt’s first three events, from the debut at Deus Ex Machina Customs’ Deus Emporium in Venice, California, to the special event held at Modernica.

The hardcover book has 250 pages with hundreds of gorgeous photos by Carby Tuckwell. Apart from admiring iconic cars, readers can also glimpse renowned figures throughout the book. Well-known names include Rod Emory and Rob Dickinson as well as Jeff Zwart, Bruce Meyer, and many others. Available in a limited edition through the Deus Ex Machina Customs website, the Luftgekühlt Book comes with a hard screen printed slipcase dust jacket. Inside, there’s a poster size, fold-out image of Luftauto. Customers can choose between the mint or the ruby dust sleeves, both versions available at $120. A great collector’s item as well as the perfect gift for any Porsche fan. Photographs© Luftgekühlt.
