Located close to The DeBruce  in the picturesque Willowemoc Valley, upstate New York, the Livingston Manor Fly Fishing Club offers the perfect solution to relax with friends in the middle of nature. The property is spread across five acres on the Willowemoc Creek riverfront, the birthplace of fly fishing in the US. The location, in the charming town of Livingston Manor, welcomes guests in a natural setting with a private riverfront, beach, and trails that lead to a forest.

More than just a tranquil place where one can enjoy some fly fishing in the Catskills, the Livingston Manor Fly Fishing Club also puts a focus on slow living and on the importance of connecting with nature and with each other. Indeed, the retreat is ideal for anyone who wants to get away from the city for a weekend. The beautifully restored buildings blend the comfort of home with the laid-back feel of a nature resort. Guests can stay in different types of accommodations, one more cozy than the other.

A classic homey space, the lodge boasts wood walls with rustic-grade grain, brass fixtures, leather sofas, and fireplaces. The lodge comprises a master bedroom and two bathrooms. Here guests have access to a library, a hidden bar as well as a spacious dining table for ten people. By contrast, the loft features light hues and a Scandinavian design that references fishing cabins found across the Swedish coastline. Think white painted wood walls, light blue accents, plush cushions, snug nooks, and lush plants. The loft features two queen bedrooms, a sleeping loft, a bunk bed room, a small kitchen, and a living room.

For a cozier stay, fly fishing fans can choose the cottage; it includes a living room with windows on three sides, three bedrooms, and a kitchen. For those who are looking for a more down-to-earth stay, the Livingston Manor Fly Fishing Club also offers tent accommodations. A tribute to the Lenape Tribe, the original stewards of the Willowemoc river, the smaller tents feature cozy rugs and a Swedish wood-burning stove. The larger tents pay homage to explorer David Livingstone. They feature soft linens on comfy beds as well as binoculars and a cooler box for drinks. Outdoors, guests also have access to fire pits, a huge dining table, a wood-fired sauna, and comfortable Adirondack chairs.
