There is nothing quite like the allure and peacefulness from the warm glow and soft cracklings of a log burning in the fireplace. This soft emission of light forms the inspiration for Log Lamp, an artificial rendition crafted by Olli Mustikainen and Jari Nyman. Instead of sporting the natural curves of wooden logs, Log Lamp takes on an orthogonal construction, a block encasement over the light that illuminates from underneath. The easy on/off switch for the lamp is activating by gently pressing on the wooden block to expose and activate the interior light.
