Long Brick House by Földes Architects

Built in in Pilisborosjeno, Hungary, this Földes Architects construction reimagines the classic brick house. The exterior is made of light, pinkish bricks, a softer color than one usually sees. The bright hue makes the gabled roof and long plan seem fresh. Inside, the home features a fireplace, built-in shelving, large windows, painted rafters, a spacious window seat. Altogether a cozy design, this contemporary country home borrows from the best of old and new ideas.
