Presented at Maison & Objet 2015, the Luna Cabinet is the latest piece of furniture created by the Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola for the French brand Coedition. The design is composed of a circular shelf and a tall X-shaped base. The furniture features two wooden covers and partial dividers which divide the round top into quadrants. With the little cabinet doors closed, the circle resembles a sideways half-moon. Evocative and visually pleasing, this design is an attractive addition to the home. Look out for its release from Coedition, where it will soon be available in one’s choice of a peach body with walnut accents or a walnut frame with touches of green and blue.
