The Maison Kitsuné x Brandblack Aura Runner

A footwear collection that blends both retro and futuristic influences.

Designed in a collaboration between two different but equally cool brands, the ‘Dream Amplifier’ line features a distinctive aesthetic. Parisian brand Maison Kitsuné and Los Angeles-based footwear and apparel label Brandblack partnered to create the limited-edition collection, infusing the footwear with quirky and fun design cues. Thanks to the use of Maison Kitsuné’s seasonal color palette, the products also display bursts of vibrant hues. The Maison Kitsuné x Brandblack Aura Runner is no exception. Paying homage to ‘90s running shoes, the runner combines a distinctive silhouette with modern technology and some eye-catching details.

The upper features both full-grain Nappa leather and suede accents wrapped over a breathable flat-knit sock liner. For superior traction and comfort, the sneaker features a chunky Vibram RollinGait System. Interior leather soles and a handy TPU speed lacing system complete the design. The men’s version comes in Green, Gray, and Red, while the women’s runner features Pink and Burgundy colors. Apart from the Aura runner, the collection also includes colorful sandals. You can find the line now in Maison Kitsuné’s online shop, with the collection also available in the brand’s stores and at authorized retailers at a later date.
