The Minimalist Pen Type-B

A minimal pen designed to look fantastic for decades.

Following the success of their Pen Type-A design, industrial and product designers Che-Wei Wang and Taylor Levy have launched a new version, aptly named Pen Type-B. Using the same minimalist aesthetic and high-quality build of the previous product, the co-founders of Brooklyn-based studio CW&T created the ideal writing solution for design lovers everywhere. While made to stand the test of time and last for generations, Pen Type-B also boasts an ultra-clean, minimal design. This ensures that it will defy passing trends to look great for years to come.

The machined titanium body and sleeve fit together perfectly and create a piston-like effect when the pen falls into or comes out of the sleeve. A magnet on the interior of the sleeve keeps the pen in place while securely covering the tip. As strong as steel but light as aluminum, titanium provides impressive strength and durability to this everyday item. The sleeve’s flat side keeps the pen from rolling on a smooth table surface.

Pen Type-B comes in three versions: Matte, Polished, and Black Cerakote. The latter option features a durable and high-quality matte black ceramic-polymer coating.
