Ideal for modern interiors, the Companions Writing Desk provides a perfect way to create a minimalist workspace, even in compact living spaces. Designed by Ilse Crawford, founder of London-based Studioilse, the desk is part of a larger furniture collection called ‘Companions’ and is manufactured by Portuguese brand De La Espada. The range also includes two tables and one bed, but the writing desk stands out thanks to its blend of function and style.
Made of solid wood, the desk is durable and elegant. Its narrow design suits compact rooms perfectly, while the cork bowl offers a clever solution to hide cables or store smaller items. The top also opens to reveal a storage space underneath, offering plenty of space for a laptop or papers. The Companions Writing Desk comes in American black walnut, American white oak, or European ash wood. All versions have various finish options. The cork bowl comes with a hook for either the left or the right hand side. Photographs© Studioilse and De La Espada.
