Morris Cabinet

As impressive in its functionality as it is in its blend of industrial and creative modern design, the Morris Cabinet made by Gravina fits into both office or home spaces. The Barcelona-based studio aims to create “objects to build bounds with; objects that one would want to keep forever,” and the cabinet illustrates this goal perfectly. Compact, versatile and mobile, it easily integrates into smaller urban apartments and provides convenient storage spaces while also enhancing interiors with its distinctive aesthetic.

The laser cut and drilled steel plates have a dark blue color that accentuate the industrial aesthetic. Four solid wood legs connect the plates and provide stability, but also give a warmer accent to the design. The two compartments offer generous storage space. The lower section hides objects from view, while the upper compartment allows users to see the contents at a glance. The removable tray at the top and the four wheels enhance the functionality of the cabinet further. Photo credits: Gravina.
