The Outeiro House is the conversion of an old house in the area of Porto, Portugal’s historical center. In order to turn the originally rural styled dwelling into a modern family friendly living space, the designers of EZZO decided to put new concrete volume inside the house while retaining its existing outside facade. Being able to see and feel the neighboring spaces, the vertical glass panels on the side of the building provide a sense of depth. Inside, the house is organized into three floors, connected by a central staircase.
