A perfect tool for the holiday kitchen, Pantin is a modern rendition of the traditional trivet. Designed by Jean Couvreur for Les Élémentaires, the wooden piece is a chain of short bars strung together by an elastic cord and finished with a copper cap at one end. The individual beech wood segments elevate hot dishes from delicate surfaces, but their unique connection and angled shape allow the string of six to be reconfigured from a single linear form into a perfect hexagon.
