A breath of fresh air in the field of electronic and digital product design, the new Permafrost X MINISO collection features gorgeous colors and simple shapes as well as clean lines and plenty of curves. Designed by industrial designer Andreas Murray, one of the four co-founders of the Norwegian studio Permafrost, this collection offers a creative twist on the minimalist Scandinavian design we all know and love. Of course, the design studio’s philosophy defines the look and feel of this range. Permafrost’s mission centers around “creating consumer products that are user friendly, simple and safe, with just enough personality to make them stand out.”
Created exclusively for retailer MINISO, the collection translates the Japanese company’s passion for accessibility and quality in playful designs. The products have a summery character thanks to the pastel or more vibrant colors. The Permafrost X MINISO includes earphones and headphones, a portable Bluetooth loudspeaker, a fan and a USB desk lamp, as well as memory sticks. All of them are currently available only through MINISO’s stores across Asia. Photographs© Johan Holmquist. Images courtesy of Permafrost Design Studio.
