Designed by Ola Giertz for the Swedish company Materia , Frame is a chair with an open rectangular structure instead of a traditional back and sides. The unorthodox, picture-frame-like shape allows the user to sit however is comfortable and gives the overall design a heightened sense of wonder. The chair stands on wooden legs, a subtle base for the monolith that is its Kvadrat-upholstered seat. Available in blue, green, and gray, the fabric enclave offers a space for relaxation and softens the acoustics of any room.
