I’m purposely leaving alone some disintegrating wallpaper from the late 1800s barely hanging on to a few hidden corners of our bathroom wall after a previous owners’ lazy renovation. An exquisite makeover to the old time porcelain-over-cast-iron farmhouse sink is the lovely Ray bathroom ceramic washbasin by Michael Hilgers. The tapered wooden legs designed with decorative metal bars also serve as perfect towel racks. Fastened to the wall is the water faucet and on/off knob.
