Part of ferm LIVING’s popular Rico collection of sofas, lounge chairs, daybeds, and poufs, the new Rico Dining Chair features the range’s signature soft, rounded forms and plush cushions. The chair also showcases the mission of the Copenhagen-based furniture and lighting brand: to create products that make homes more comfortable and beautiful; designs with soft forms, tactile surfaces, and unexpected details. Similarly to the other products from the same collection, the Rico Dining Chair boasts a plush seat and a curved backrest that wraps around the user. The chair comes either with a swivel base finished in lustrous chrome or with four powder-coated steel legs.
Taking inspiration from the Rico lounge chair, this dining chair maximizes comfort – a crucial detail for any chair, but especially for dining chairs that seat family and friends during dinner parties and gatherings. At the same time, the swivel version allows the user to bring Rico to a home office. ferm LIVING’s carefully considered the proportions and curves of the original designs when creating the new chair. The seat is thick and curved, featuring padded upholstery. Likewise, the backrest curves just enough to embrace the user and to create comfortable armrests. The Rico Dining Chair comes with the two base types and with a range of upholstery materials, available in different colors and textures. Prices for the chair start at $1,109.
