Rose Li Collection by Albi for Aqua Creations

Tai chi, a Chinese martial art form, emphasizes the balance of both hard and soft movements. Despite its reputation, this dexterous exercise in motion is also one in philosophy. Albi’s Rose Li Collection for Aqua Creations captures the synergy of hard and soft, yin and yang, light and dark. Named in honor of the artist’s Master in the practice, the collection of lamps is sculpted to reflect a certain position in the sequence of moves. Extended arms, crouched bodies, and the range in between are all captured in the abstract bends of the copper tubing. Each lamp features LED lights, which illuminate the open ends and throw warm reflections down the entire structure. Fitted with rechargeable batteries, each lamp can stand on its own and be a free spirit in generating equal parts light and shadow in a lovely-lit space.
