Sidecars Aren’t Just for Motorcycles

Any city cyclist knows the struggle of having too large a load to carry on their meager two-wheel commuter. Created in the workshop at Horse brand Co., the Sidecar Bicycle makes it possible to lug a heavy package or a couple of surfboards across town driven by the force of your own two feet. The stout three wheeler measures 52cm with a 57cm top tube, making it the perfect fit for practically any rider. Supported by a smaller 12” wheel, the hardwood flatbed – available in oak or reclaimed Coney Island Boardwalk wood salvaged from Hurricane Sandy — has an impressive capacity of about 100 pounds (the same as three large dogs), with super strong chromoly alloy steel that makes it “Horse tough.” If it wasn’t good looking enough, the utility bike is topped off with 35 mm tires and a sleek black saddle and grips by Brooks. Perfect “for work and for play,” the Sidecar Bicycle offers an elegant solution to an everyday cyclists’ dilemma. Read more and order your own here.
