The Society Collection

Elegant and whimsical tableware designed to bring a convivial spirit to the dining table.

Recently launched at Maison et Objet, The Society Collection designed by Neri & Hu for Paola C. draws inspiration from the brand’s mission to make products that inspire and encourage interactions between people. The range of functional tableware celebrates the social side of family dining and get-togethers with friends. Made from glass and metal, every item from the collection has a distinctive personality, shape, and combination of materials. At the same time, each design feels a part of a family alongside the other objects from the range.

The collection features simple geometries, elegant curves, and creative accents as well as a refined play between textures, transparencies, and colors. The design studio used both clear and colored glass for the series. Bronze detailing adds a vintage feel to the designs. Stylish but also quirky and fun, The Society Collection includes a fruit bowl, a carafe, a vase, candle holders, and a tea set. Apart from The Society Collection introduced at this year’s Maison & Objet in Paris, Paola C. also launched the Fun-Tional Collection by Jaime Hayon and the Sciia Glasses series by (a + b) dominoni, quaquaro.
