Sparkles and Wine by Opale

Directed by Nacho Guzman, the “Sparkles and Wine”  music video was first a promotional teaser for Opale, a Parisian duo singing in French, English, and Spanish. Within the span of a couple of minutes, the video showcases many lighting effects commonly used in film, theatre, and photography. As the light shifts, actress Stella Stocker’s face appears to change, an effect amplified by her expression and gestures, the zoom of the camera, and the use of a wind machine. Yet, the camera maintains the same angle throughout the video, and, in the viral teaser, there is minimal post-production editing. To see the same clip edited and in full, check out Opale’s official music video for “Sparkles and Wine.”
