The WOTHOUSE is a second family home built in the backyard of a property in Oslo, Norway. A clean-lined box clad in gray stone and brick, the NSW AS design pointedly contrasts with the surrounding 1930s villas. The concrete and plasterboard interior is distinct as well; windows of various sizes create varied natural lighting in each room. Notably, the skylight is placed over top of the staircase so that the sun’s rays permeate all the way down to the basement.
