The Alps Photographed by Lukas Furlan

In this stunning series of pictures of the Alps, the Italian student, photographer, and hiking enthusiast Lukas Furlan takes viewers right to the foot of the mountains. The collection looks to South Tyrol, a province of northern Italy, examining the beauty of the unpeopled landscape. The project includes a mix of double-exposed and non-composite photographs, each nonetheless captured in vivid color and relief. To celebrate the outdoors in all of its glory, Furlan shares images of both night and day, showing how lighting can transform the world around us.
