The Invermay House: An Australian Family Home

The Invermay House was designed by Moloney Architects in Victoria, Australia. Designed for maximum natural lighting, the angular home features many large windows for southern views and northern warmth. Clad in spotted gum wood and concrete, the home is naturally fire-resistant, an important feature given its location in the bush.
Inside, the design features elements such as slatted screens, polished floors, and a sculptural wood-burning fireplace, all of which work together to enrich the lighting. The overall result is that each room has its own, carefully-detailed look.
