New York fashion brand NOOKA recently unveiled their first-ever chronograph watch on Indiegogo. The campaign is already successfully funded but will go on through September 20. After that, the four limited edition models will be off the market. The watch, named NOOKRONO, draws inspiration from the Space Race. To this effect, the dial and face reference launchpads, and the lines on the face go in every direction, exploring possibilities in design and, metaphorically, in technology. On the tech front, NOOKA is making a custom quartz movement in-house, and the American-made component is expected to be as high quality as equivalents crafted in Switzerland and Japan. The finalized wristwatches will feature three hands on the face and three minimalist registers, each marked with indexes and outfitted with its own two-hand movement. Check out the versatile unisex design, available in colorways ranging from all-black to gold.
