The Woven Collection by Timothy John

Inspired by the public’s reaction to the woven series experiment that took place in 2010, the team at Timothy John Ltd created the Woven collection comprised of 5 limited edition pieces: the Traditionalist vase, the Optimist and Pessimist pendant lights, the Exhibitionist table and the Deviant clock; each represents a strong sense of contradiction in terms of form and finish. The designers focused on scale and material weaving techniques, using organically woven felt textile with high gloss and elegant components, emphasizing conflicting qualities and spirited embellishments. The team approached the process with plenty of personal touches combined with some current global design trends, the result is thought provoking and truly inspirational.
