A limited-edition furniture collection that brings the iconic Klein blue color into modern living spaces.
Created in a collaboration between French design studio and furniture brand Tiptoe and the Yves Klein Archives, this collection brings an iconic color into living spaces. A limited-edition series, Tiptoe x Klein Blue reimagines some of the brand’s most popular furniture in the famous ultramarine blue created by French artist Yves Klein in the 1950s. Known as International Klein Blue (IKB), the color was described by the artist as “the most perfect expression of blue”, making it a perfect choice to complement Tiptoe designs.
Intense and distinctive, the bright blue hue enhances the SSD Chair, Lou Stool, coffee table, and minimalist bench as well as the brand’s modular dining table legs and coffee table legs, wall brackets, and the Pli Wall Shelf. Tiptoe’s designers spent moths trying to find the perfect shades of IKB for the steel and wood surfaces, creating two formulas to achieve a perfect match. The chair, stool, bench and shelf have a monochrome IKB finish, looking like works of art in any space. As for the blue legs and wall brackets, they can instantly add a vibrant touch to tables and shelving made of light wood, for example. All of these products feature either stamped or screen-printed logos to mark them as part of the limited-edition series.
The Tiptoe x Klein Blue collection merges art and design while celebrating the work and genius of Yves Klein. Like other Tiptoe products, these modular accessories and pieces of furniture follow the principles of sustainable design.
