Designed by Jarrod Lim for furniture makers Hinika, the tree ring birdhouse diverges from the standard shape for birdhouses and looks more like a bird’s dwelling than a person’s. The knot-like, egg-shaped design is intended to attract songbirds and serve as a more natural habitat than the average birdhouse. Whether or not birds actually prefer this biophilic design, the tree ring birdhouse is a fine choice for buyers, as its teak wood is responsibly harvested and brings a handsome look to the garden.
