Triangular Stool By Dominik Weber Design

Compact, functional, convenient. These words describe many products launched over the past few years, whether they’re folding urban bikes, modular shelves or reconfigurable furniture. But the Triangular Stool by Dominik Weber Design takes functionality to another level. Created in 2016 as part of the designer’s studies at the FH Salzburg University in Austria, the stool recently won a European Product Design Award.

Inspired by usability and technology, the stool features an ingenious eccentric system that allows the user to quickly assemble or dissemble the product. The three identical legs fit inside any of the three slots, without requiring any tools. On top, the triangular seat enables sitting in any direction. It also comes with a leather cover that boasts engraved assembly instructions. Designed for the modern urban dwellers that love good design just as much as they value sustainability and eco-friendly practices, the stool can be easily delivered without any packaging. When not in use, it can also be dissembled in seconds and placed vertically to occupy minimal storage space.
