Une Pièce Moirée by Lands Architecture is a basic model with simplicity in focus. The metal screen surrounding the home acts as a camouflage coat hiding any doorway or window. It creates an imaginary undisturbed exterior, with the concept that nothing can get in. The brown box home is designed as a two story open floor plan with exaggerated ground level pocket opening, exposing the entire downstairs living space. Beautiful Swiss mountains outline the horizon making for spectacular views. Yet, peacefully unaware, the humble home nestles itself comfortably in the grassy yard below.

I find a way to fearlessly provoke your senses and take you by the heart to whatever it is I’m writing about. My sweet spot is creative writing, but for the last 20 years I have been providing freelance content for publications on sustainability and green practices, design, architecture, fashion, and non-profit charity. Recently all wrapped up in producing my first book. I have bounced from NYC to Indianapolis, but my true home is a lovely small town in Central Pennsylvania where there’s a legit drive-your-tractor-to-school-day.
