Built as a bike that defies classification, Urban Racer by Speedvagen aims to bring back childhood memories of exploring the unknown on two wheels alongside bike-riding friends. Keeping in line with the workshop’s obsession with balance and quality over quantity, this cool urban racer has a simple build and a minimalist bike design. Its geometry allows the user to sprint up city hills and ride across town, making the daily commute exciting and fun. Urban Racer comes with a Speedvagen steel frame which is 4-6 times stronger than classic steel tubing, but it’s also lightweight – the bicycle weighs only 13lbs.
Other features include a Berzerker dropout cast from steel alloy, a coaster brake for more simplicity, a two-speed internal SRAM hub, as well as a Fabric Scoop Ti rails saddle. Users can also opt for some upgrades. These include a one piece bar and stem, an integrated lighting system, and front rack. Available in Matte Army Green or Hot Pink, the bike is made in the USA and has a starting price of $3,495. If you want to order one, head over to the company’s website – you’ll only have to wait about two weeks for your new racer. Photographs© Speedvagen.
