Based in Cologne, Germany, Skypak is young design studio specializing in recycled home decor. For their latest work, La Barrique Collection, the team made wine and whiskey bars from German airplane trolleys and barrels from beloved châteaux and distilleries from across the globe. Handcrafted from wood and steel, the bars retain the industrial flair of the trolleys and the textured look and scent of the wood, upcycling both materials into one rustic design. That the materials are reclaimed makes the bars sustainable and rich in history.
