XTABLE by EX Architects and MAYICE

The XTABLE is a minimalist powerhouse. Updating traditional desk typology, the XTABLE fulfills the contemporary ideals of having functional versatility, structural simplicity, renewable materials, and angular geometry. Handmade by Carlos E. Pacajes for EX Architects and MAYICE, the XTABLE is a wooden desk for two. The desk is composed of three pieces: a tabletop and a two-part base and divider, all made of sustainably harvested pine. The bottom component slides into place and can be adjusted to increase the amount of workspace on one side. Providing storage as well as workspace, the tabletop grooves catch small items, and the forked divider keeps larger objects.
