Taiwanese designers from Ystudio have created a line of products that seem to oppose the current push to conceive technological advancements that rapidly fall into obsolescence. Their new stationary line is the beginning of a story, a return to simpler times and well-made objects that are made to last a lifetime. The balance of pure brass, copper, and rustic wood reminds the user of “the weight of words:” a poetic homage to the physical act of writing and the responsibility that comes with it.
