Found in a suburb of Sapporo, this lofted home by Jun Igarashi Architects plays on light neutrals and long, clean lines. The exterior is blocked in white and punctuated by several small windows. Inside the house, painted steel elements and natural wood predominate. A loft adds a sense of whimsy, and the ladders and spiral stairs leading up to it lengthen the space.
