From lists that make planning easy to information about the best hardtail bikes and camping gear, to name a few. Of course, the worldwide routes are the highlight of the website. Provided by contributors, they offer tried-and-tested guides to some of the world’s most breathtaking trails. With currently more than 100 routes to choose from, those who love two-wheel travels will always find a source of inspiration for their next bike adventure. The routes are also divided into various categories, for more convenience. Users can select between type of terrain and bike, duration, or location.

Here’s a taste of what the site offers: the Cotopaxi 360 route in Ecuador. Covering a distance of 67 miles, the route also includes a 7,200’ ascent to reach a high point at 13,650’, which explains the 8 out of 10 difficulty. The route features dry, lunar-like terrain as well as forest roads, tufty paramo trails, and two tracks covered in grass. While riding through the winding paths of the Cotopaxi National Park, one can admire an array of local vegetation and wildlife, with glimpses at the Cotopaxi volcano also accessible here and there.

The guide also includes must-know information about weather conditions, suitable bikes, food and water supplies, or local shops with bike and camping gear, among many other important facts. All you’ll need to do is start packing your travel bags for that unforgettable bike adventure. A big ‘thank you’ to the source of this article, our friends at Urban Cycling.
