A minimalist and eco-friendly cardboard lamp design.
In recent years, lighting and furniture products have become increasingly more eco-friendly. The Cartoni 900 cardboard light exemplifies this perfectly. Created by designer Wisse Trooster for Cartoni Design, the pendant light features several layers of recycled corrugated cardboard as well as an energy-efficient LED light. A veneer top completes the design, adding a warm accent to the design and providing customization options at the same time. The user can select a certain finish to ensure that the cardboard lamp design blends into the décor.
Minimalist and versatile, the lighting suits various types of spaces, from residential interiors to offices and commercial settings. Its lightweight materials ensure that the pendant weighs only 900 grams, while its innovative design allows the user to install it on its own or connected in a larger set of more pendants. The design made its debut at the VT Wonen & Design Fair and has also made an appearance at the Dutch Design Week in October 2017.
