A lightweight, speed-hiking boot from a running shoes specialist brand.
Founded in 2010, Swiss brand On specializes in lightweight running shoes that are as innovative as they are comfortable. Now the company has expanded its collection of skillfully engineered footwear with a speed-hiking boot named Cloudrock Waterproof. The brand’s first hiking boot, this design incorporates the technology that has made On footwear popular across the world. Cloudrock Waterproof features Zero-Gravity CloudTec® soles which provide great cushioning as well as optimal support. Unparalleled Missiongrip™ rubber traction on a wide range of surfaces ensures that the boot can handle all types of terrain. Lugs also make walking on softer trails easy. At the same time, the boot is significantly more lightweight than similar products, weighing up to 35% less than standard hiking boots.
The upper features a windproof and waterproof membrane along with two types of mesh for breathability and extra stability. Both the tongue and the high collar feature padding for more comfort. An ingenious 360° rubberized mudguard with a tough but flexible build offers protection while the Swiss-engineered FlexLock system provides a traditional or a single-pull lacing option.
