Coffee Jar By Sovrappensiero

An ingenious companion for your daily coffee making ritual.

At first glance, the Coffee Jar looks elegantly minimal. Upon closer inspection, however, the user uncovers the ingenuity of this apparently simple jar. Designed by Milan-based Sovrappensiero Design Studio for renowned Italian houseware brand Bialetti, the Coffee Jar features an integrated container integrated on the lid. Tall and wide enough to double as a filter basket, it provides a clever solution to minimize spills and to also ensure any excess powder goes back into the jar. Finally, an easy way to make a cup of coffee without making a mess on the countertop.

On the side of the jar, a spoon measures coffee powder with accuracy and hooks onto the lid. The specially designed shape ensures that the spoon rests perfectly against the jar when not in use. It not only occupies minimal space, but also bring peace of mind that it’s always at hand when needed. The jar also features an airtight seal on the lid, to guarantee that your ground coffee or beans stay fresh and full of flavor for longer. Photographs© Francesca Iovene. Styling by Sarah Richiuso.
