The Brizo Vettis Concrete Faucet

High-end design meets sculpture in an exclusive product.

Although Brizo has built a reputation of launching high-end products that redefine bathroom style, the new Vettis Concrete Faucet takes one step further. Sculptural and refined, this product is more an artistic accent than a practical fixture. Nature provided the source of inspiration for the entire Vettis collection. Paying homage to “nature and its strength”, in the concrete faucet “water, stone and charcoal combine to fully realize this vision”, explains industrial designer TJ Eads. The design also aims to offer a fresh interpretation of the sensory experience provided by a waterfall. The sculptural form and the finest materials blend in an architectural silhouette.

Produced in an ultra-limited edition of 500 pieces, each faucet is expertly handcrafted to exacting standards by sculptor Christopher Shannon in Victoria, British Columbia. The concrete features a pure charcoal tint which gives it a custom gray hue. Hand-poured, the faucets also boast fiber reinforcements that strengthen the material. Each Brizo Vettis Concrete Faucet cures for 30 days. This stage allows the concrete to develop a distinct color, texture, and patina, making every product one-of-a-kind. While in use, the sculptural faucet gives the flowing water a relaxing waterfall effect. Photographs© Brizo.
