Contemporary Wheelbarrow Chair

View all 9 Photos

A crafty chair with simple beginnings, Rapide explores how a common wheelbarrow can be reimagined in contemporary design. The lounge chair is curvy and bold with wooden wheels on either side of the seat. More than a referential detail, the wheels allow the design to be driven just like a wheelbarrow. Users simply lift the piece up by the wooden handle on the back and push where they want the furniture to go. Designed by ONEMANDUO for the Estonian company Borg, this modern seating solution can be moved between indoor and outdoor spaces with ease.
